Software Engineer, Database Reliability & Performance

InfluxData is hiring a Software Engineer for the reliability and performance of InfluxDB, the time series database.

This is database internals rather than application work: the questions are how a store behaves under sustained write load, where the latency actually goes, and what breaks at scale. Time series is one of the few workloads where those answers are different from the general case, which is why the product exists at all.

InfluxData is remote-first with a globally distributed team, and this role is open in the United States and Canada.
