Staff Backend Engineer, Grafana Second Horizon

Grafana Labs is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer onto a skunkworks team with an unusually clear brief: take observability past engineering and into the rest of the business.

Concretely, that means an AI-native data intelligence system giving agents reliable, governed access to enterprise context, so that both humans and agents can act on real-time data wherever it lives. It is early enough that the shape of the thing is still an open question, and senior enough that you would be answering it.

Grafana Labs is fully remote across 40+ countries, and Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft and Salesforce are on the customer list. The band here is the Irish one; the same role is posted for Spain, Sweden, the UK and Germany at their own published rates.
