About the role
This is a Stytch role inside Twilio, building the mobile side of Stytch's identity and fraud products as they are extended to Twilio's whole customer base.
The work is SDK engineering: mobile SDKs that power authentication and fraud detection, which means going deep on device internals to collect the signals that identify bad actors, and shipping new SDK surfaces for core authentication flows. The posting also puts agentic and non-human identity in scope, which is the part worth noticing: the same question of who is signing in, asked about software rather than people.
Android experience with fluency in Kotlin or Java is the requirement; iOS is desired, and Kotlin Multiplatform, C, C++, Swift or Go are listed as useful. Experience building developer tools or SDKs is asked for. Twilio is remote-first and says so at length, with the caveat that you may be asked to appear in person on an ad-hoc basis for team gatherings, off-sites or customer meetings. Remote, US.
