Engineering Manager, Authentication Services
About the role
The failure modes are locking out real users or letting in the wrong ones, and both are unacceptable. This team owns sign-in and identity verification at 1Password: services, workflows and infrastructure, from designing new authentication features to operating them safely.
Leading a team through that requires judgment about risk that most engineering management does not. Canada remote. Setting strategic direction with senior ICs rather than dictating it.
