About the role
Mission Control is the platform team behind Copilot's coding agent, and the Session Service is the system of record for every agent session on GitHub. Every Copilot assignment, every CLI session, every chat conversation from VS Code, JetBrains or the website runs through the Go services this team owns.
The forward work named includes remote steering from web and mobile, policy enforcement, and the Agent Host Protocol, so the design decisions are still open.
US remote, with Go, Kubernetes, Azure and Terraform, and a spec-first API culture. Very wide band, as GitHub's postings tend to be.
