About the role

Founding engineer on a zero-to-one squad inside Kong, not the Konnect identity seat. The work is the coordination layer for machine-to-machine commerce: discovery, identity, billing and settlement between agents and APIs. Model Context Protocol work is named directly.

Agent-to-agent commerce may become infrastructure or may not, and you would be building it before that is decided. It runs on Kong's existing runtime rather than starting from nothing, and the team is set up as an autonomous unit. US remote.
