Staff Full Stack Engineer
Mattermost Posted about 2 months ago $195K - $239K
About the role
On-premises and private cloud, for defence, intelligence and critical infrastructure. That single fact shapes the engineering: strict security and compliance, environments that are sometimes disconnected by design, and customers who cannot simply be told to upgrade. Go on the backend, React and TypeScript on the front, technical direction for the core web platform.
They would rather hire someone who ships than match a stack exactly. They are also blunt that engineering culture is AI-forward and that they expect fluent daily use of coding agents as part of the craft. If that is not how you like to work, believe them and skip it. This is the Canada listing, banded to Toronto.
