The scale is the interesting part: RevenueCat is in more than half of newly shipped subscription apps and processes over $16bn in annual purchase volume, so the backend here is a payments system with a very wide blast radius rather than a CRUD service. The posting says so plainly, and says the bar is set accordingly.
