About the role
MZLA, the nonprofit-owned company behind Thunderbird, is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer for the Thunderbird iOS app.
The app is early, and that is the appeal: the role is about establishing a strong technical foundation as Thunderbird expands past a single desktop client, not maintaining a mature codebase. You would work alongside the other mobile engineers, product and UX.
Thunderbird is used by more than 20 million people, developed in the open with a global community of contributors, and funded by donations plus paid services rather than by an advertising business. MZLA is 60+ people across seven countries, and separate from Mozilla Corporation. Remote within the United States; the same role is posted for Canada at a Canadian rate.
