About the role

LiveKit builds the infrastructure developers use to run voice AI agents and real-time audio and video, used by OpenAI, Salesforce, Spotify and thousands of others. This role joins a small Trust team covering security, IT and compliance, and owns the security of the production platform that carries customers' media and data.

You would map the security posture of the cloud and production infrastructure, agree a prioritised backlog of security debt with engineering and close the riskiest items first. That means hardening IAM, secrets and network boundaries, securing tenant isolation and storage for customer-deployed agents, building secure defaults into the Terraform, and automating the technical evidence for PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 audits.

They want 5+ years in security, infrastructure or SRE work with a real focus on infrastructure security, hands-on experience securing AWS, GCP or Azure and Kubernetes workloads, and solid scripting in Go or Python. WebRTC, AI security, incident response or audit experience are pluses.

Pay is $200,000 to $300,000 plus equity. Remote in the US or Canada.
