Security Engineer, Vulnerability Management & Security Operations

LiveKit builds the infrastructure developers use to run voice AI agents and real-time audio and video, used by OpenAI, Salesforce, Spotify and thousands of others. This role sets up and runs its vulnerability management and security operations program from an early stage, inside a small Trust team covering security, IT and compliance.

You would choose and roll out scanning across production assets, then run the whole loop: triage, judging real severity, assigning owners, remediation deadlines and reporting. The aim is workflows that fit how engineers already work, a remediation dashboard people actually use, automated compliance evidence, and automation (including agentic tooling) that removes manual security ops work.

They want 5+ years in security engineering, security operations or software engineering with a strong security focus, hands-on experience running a vulnerability management program or scanning tooling, solid scripting in Go or Python, and comfort reading Terraform. Real-time media, audit or incident response experience is a plus.

Pay is $200,000 to $300,000 plus equity. Remote in the US or Canada.
