About the role
Network security at a cloud provider is a different discipline from enterprise network security. The threat model includes your own customers, the traffic volumes make manual review impossible, and the blast radius of a mistake is everybody.
Securing a global network across edge, backbone and data centre environments, with threat modelling, intrusion detection and protocol-level analysis named alongside a heavy automation mandate.
US remote, Python and Go on Linux with Prometheus. The role is explicitly a technical leadership and mentorship seat as well as a hands-on one.
