About the role
Physical data centre architecture: cooling design, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, site selection, and the shift from air cooling through liquid to 800 volt DC rack-scale systems. The facilities counterpart to the hardware architecture listing above.
A remote listing for a data centre architect is a strange and welcome thing. AI hardware has broken a lot of assumptions built into existing facility designs, and someone has to work out what the next generation looks like before the hardware arrives.
