Every dollar Zapier earns passes through this team: billing, subscriptions, payments, pricing, entitlements and checkout. As staff engineer you would own the architecture, defining the pricing primitives and data models that let the company change packaging in days rather than months.
The posting calls it finance-grade infrastructure where correctness is non-negotiable. Revenue systems are where sloppy abstractions become audit findings. Canada remote. Shipping pricing changes quickly without losing accuracy is the architectural problem.
