A zero to one mandate: personally recruit four exceptional engineers, define how they work, and point them at the highest-leverage friction in GitLab's own development lifecycle. Flaky tests, review bottlenecks, pipeline latency.
Success is merge requests per month, pipeline success rate and pipeline latency, explicitly not story points or activity.
US, Canada and UK remote, reporting to a VP.
