About the role
The senior counterpart to GitHub's regional infrastructure staff role. Provisioning workflows, networking, compute, storage, DNS and service onboarding across multi-region Azure environments, plus deployment safety and incident response tooling.
Data residency is a growing requirement rather than a passing one, and this team is the reason a customer in a specific jurisdiction can use GitHub at all. US remote, Azure and Terraform with heavy automation.
