Cognition makes Devin, and this role is where Devin meets a real engineering organisation. The posting draws the line sharply: you do not demo it, you deploy it, embedding with customer teams and integrating agentic workflows into how they actually ship.
As one of the first Applied AI Engineers, you would also be building the function: playbooks, learning content, and an enablement model that scales past your own calendar.
