Head of Applied Machine Learning (ML)

SentiLink is hiring a Head of Applied ML to own a major ML domain behind the fraud detection and identity verification models much of the US financial system runs on.

You would manage four applied ML scientists, growing to six by the end of 2026, and own the roadmap, priorities, resourcing and results for your domain. Technical credibility is stated as non-negotiable: reviewing pull requests, pushing on modelling decisions and staying current on the production systems. You would also represent the domain in product strategy.

The stack is Python 3, PostgreSQL, AWS, XGBoost, scikit-learn, pandas, Elasticsearch and OpenSearch, Neo4j, MLflow and Flyte.
