About the role
Checkly is hiring a Product Manager for monitoring that is defined as code: checks written, versioned and reviewed in the same repository as the software they watch, built on OpenTelemetry and Playwright.
The problem the role owns is a genuinely open one. Agents and coding assistants are shipping more software than anyone reviews by hand, LLM-backed features fail probabilistically rather than repeatably, and nobody has settled what reliability even means for that kind of system. Checkly wants a point of view on it.
The posting is explicit that this is an ex-engineer's job: you should be able to reason about APIs, MCP and CLIs without a translator. You would work directly with the SVP of Product Engineering. Mistral, resolve.ai, LinkedIn, Citi and 1Password build on the product.
