Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, AI Core

Circle is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer onto its AI Core team, which builds the LLM features underneath the rest of the product.

The work named in the posting is agents, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation and observability for AI features, and the infrastructure for LLM inference. Deep AI specialism is not required and hands-on experience shipping AI features is; what the team is really selecting for is an experimentation mindset, because most of this is testing ideas against real production use rather than building to a spec. Some of the team came in with deep Rails experience and AI fundamentals rather than the reverse.

Circle is fully remote, around 270 people across 30+ countries, does not track hours, works async and documents heavily, and brings everyone together twice a year.
