About the role
The Agent Systems team at Kraken is a new group building internal AI agents that act on the company's own systems, with the stated aim of increasing internal speed of execution through automation and workflow orchestration.
The work sits between applied AI and ordinary backend engineering: inference pipelines that reason over user interactions, backend services integrating a lot of internal APIs and data sources, and patterns for making agent execution safe, observable and controllable. The posting is explicit that prototypes are expected but the bar for production reliability stays high, which is an honest description of this kind of team.
