Kraken runs a cryptocurrency exchange. This Senior Analytics Engineer works with its Finance team on the data behind reconciliation, ledgers and month-end close.
You would build and operate finance pipelines and models with clear definitions, ownership and quality checks, improve data timeliness toward near-real-time where it pays off, and prototype automation, including AI-assisted, that can be supported in production.
They ask for 7+ years in data analytics within financial services or another regulated industry, strong SQL and Python, solid Git and code review habits, hands-on dbt, Spark or Airflow, and direct experience with accounting data such as reconciliations, subledgers and cost basis. Pay is $110,400 to $220,800, a 2x range. Remote, US.
