About the role
WorkOS sells the APIs that make an application enterprise ready, authentication, directory sync, audit logs and access control, to OpenAI, Cursor, Perplexity, Sierra and Plaid among others. It raised a $100M Series C at a $2B valuation.
This is the internal data platform, owned end to end by a small team: ingestion, orchestration, the Snowflake warehouse, dbt transformations, and the governance and access controls over them. The consumption layer is in scope too, which is the half that usually belongs to nobody: the reverse-ETL syncs that land data in Salesforce and Slack, and the semantic views that decide what a number means. The posting frames the goal as making information accurate and available from any surface, a visualization tool or an agent's answer alike.
One thing to note so the listing does not mislead: WorkOS files this req under its Sales department, but the described work is data platform engineering. Open to candidates in the United States and Canada. Remote.
