Senior Data Engineer

Care Access runs clinical research sites, mobile clinics and health screening programmes that take research and care directly to communities.

The senior data engineer designs and maintains the pipelines and data platform behind Care Access's clinical, operational and reporting work. That includes automated ingestion, transformation and orchestration, optimising storage and processing in the Azure and Databricks lakehouse, running batch and streaming jobs, keeping documentation and lineage up to date, integrating APIs and third-party sources, and mentoring junior engineers and contractors.

Care Access is looking for 5+ years building production cloud data pipelines, strong Databricks, SQL, dbt and Python skills, experience with Azure data tooling, and familiarity with CI/CD and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory.

Pay is $120,000 to $160,000 a year. Fully remote within the United States, with under 10% travel.
