Product Designer
About the role
Care Access runs clinical research sites, mobile clinics and health screening programmes that take research and care directly to communities. Its product team builds the digital tools used by research participants and by the staff who recruit and support them.
This mid-level product designer owns assigned design work from problem definition through delivery, working alongside the principal product designer, product managers and engineers. The work covers user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma, contributing to the design system, running or supporting user interviews and usability sessions, and checking that shipped work matches the design and serves users well. Products range from participant-facing experiences to internal tools for recruitment and member services.
Care Access wants a portfolio of end-to-end product or UX work, strong Figma prototyping skills, experience designing multi-step workflows, a working knowledge of accessibility, and comfort talking through technical constraints with engineers. Familiarity with HTML, CSS or prototyping in code helps.
Pay is $85,000 to $115,000 a year. Fully remote within the United States, with under 10% travel.
