Senior Product Designer

DuckDuckGo makes a privacy-focused search engine, browsers for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android, a subscription product and Duck.ai, which lets people chat privately with several AI models. It is a remote-first team of 400+ and has been profitable since 2014.

As a senior product designer you would lead your own projects end to end, from scoping vague problems and proposing solutions through to shipping and measuring them, across products used by millions. You would have a say in product design decisions large and small, and work with people at every level on improving the current products and new ones.

They want 6+ years in product design, including 2+ years at senior level at significant consumer brands. You should be able to explain design decisions with strong mockups and prototypes, write clear briefs, use qualitative and quantitative research, and already fold AI tools into your everyday design and project work.

Pay is set by region and the same for everyone at a level: $190,500 in the US, £134,600 in the UK, CA$253,500 in Canada, and $178,500 elsewhere (moving to €157,350 in 2027), plus stock options.
