Quality Assurance Engineer
About the role
Care Access runs clinical research sites, mobile clinics and health screening programmes that bring research and care directly to communities. Its product teams build the software behind clinical research and participant pre-screening.
This QA engineer works with cross-functional product teams on both manual and automated testing, with most of the weight on end-to-end automation in Playwright. You would design and maintain automated suites across web and API surfaces, run exploratory and regression testing on complex user flows, wire tests into CI/CD so every pull request gets fast feedback, write clear bug reports, and help engineers test alongside features rather than after them.
Care Access wants 3+ years in software QA with real time spent on test automation, strong Playwright skills (or Cypress or Puppeteer), experience running suites in GitHub Actions, CircleCI or similar, and comfort testing REST and GraphQL APIs as well as UI flows.
Pay is $80,000 to $110,000 a year. The role is 100% remote within the United States, with under 10% occasional travel.
