About the role

Curai runs a virtual clinic where patients interact with AI systems at every step of their care and a licensed physician reviews each case before the clinical decision. This role builds those systems.

It is deliberately end to end: frame the problem with clinicians and product partners, explore the data, build datasets and evaluations, train and evaluate models, productionize inference with monitoring and guardrails, and then measure the clinical and product impact. Named surfaces are conversational AI, personalization, user understanding, clinical decision support and chronic care management. The evaluation work is called out separately, which is the right signal in a clinical setting: offline benchmarks, human-in-the-loop review and online experiments, so that safety and accuracy are demonstrated rather than assumed.

Curai grounds its approach in published research and links its own publications from the posting. The role leads technical execution of complex AI initiatives within a domain while partnering with senior engineers on wider architecture. Remote-first across the US. Remote, US.
