Staff Software Engineer- AI Platform

Aledade helps independent primary care practices form and run accountable care organisations, giving them technology, data and support. Its AI Core Platform team builds the shared infrastructure that lets applications and AI agents across the company reach foundation models securely and reliably.

As a staff engineer on that team you would work on model gateways, cloud AI services and provider integrations, routing and fallback, usage controls, observability and model governance. The focus is reusable, self-service platform capabilities rather than one-off features, with attention to architecture, failure modes, security, cost and developer experience. You would also mentor engineers and set engineering standards.

Aledade wants 8+ years building highly scalable systems, 4+ years as a trusted technical decision-maker, large-scale SQL, distributed systems, cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and server-side languages such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++ or Go. Experience with LLM infrastructure such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI or Vertex AI, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and observability practice is preferred.

Base pay is $176,000 to $238,000 a year across all US locations, plus an annual bonus and equity. Remote in the United States.
