Security Engineer, Vulnerability Management

LiveKit builds the infrastructure layer for voice AI applications. Its platform is used to build, test, deploy and observe agents in production for customers that handle audio, video and end-user data at large scale.

This security engineer owns vulnerability management and security operations end to end on a small Trust team that also covers IT and compliance. You would select and run scanning across production assets, triage findings with severity that fits LiveKit's environment, assign owners, track remediation SLAs, and build automation so engineering can fix issues without heavy process. The work includes remediation dashboards, evidence collection for compliance programmes, and agentic tooling that removes manual security-operations work.

LiveKit wants 5+ years in security engineering, security operations or software engineering with a strong security focus, hands-on vulnerability management or software security tooling (SCA, container, cloud or host scanning), scripting in Go or Python, comfort reading Terraform, and a pragmatic approach to risk. Real-time media, WebRTC, incident response, AppSec or AI-security experience helps.

Pay is $200,000 to $300,000 a year plus equity. Remote in the United States or Canada.
