LiveKit is hiring an IT Engineer, and the posting is unusually direct about what that means: an engineering role with a support component, not the other way around.
The bulk of the work is building and owning systems. The identity model in Okta, endpoint baselines in Workspace ONE, governance across Google Workspace and the wider SaaS estate, and the automation that decides how much manual work IT has to absorb at all. You would carry escalations and some direct support too, because at LiveKit's size there is no clean wall between the two.
LiveKit builds the infrastructure layer for voice-driven computing, and powers voice AI for OpenAI, xAI, Salesforce, Coursera and Spotify, handling billions of calls a year.
