About the role
LiveKit is hiring a Staff Security Engineer, and the posting spends its first paragraph saying what the job is not.
It is not running scans or writing policy. It is writing code, securing systems and hardening a platform end to end, from an API endpoint to a container image to a browser sandbox. The team wants someone who thinks like a builder and a breaker, and who knows both how things are meant to work and what happens when they do not.
