Security Engineer, Application Security
About the role
Low-level code: system architecture, security boundaries, access controls and platform security mechanisms. A typical day might be vulnerability analysis, automating detection of cloud misconfiguration, or assessing privilege escalation paths.
The work sits at the intersection of vulnerability research and application security, and you build tools alongside the assessments. Much of that tooling is published, so the work has a life beyond the engagement. US remote, Python, C and C++ with reverse engineering. Mid-level.
