About the role
Loop builds post-purchase commerce software for returns, exchanges and related merchant operations. This senior platform engineer makes that foundation simpler, safer and easier for product engineers to use.
You would build self-serve workflows for provisioning and shipping services, improve CI/CD, progressive delivery and rollback, simplify AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure, strengthen observability and SLOs, and help shape how engineers and AI agents work inside Loop's environment with sound access boundaries. Most of the time is hands-on technical work with coaching woven in. The environment includes AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Datadog, Linux and PHP/Laravel.
Loop wants senior platform or infrastructure engineering experience, a bias toward reducing toil and manual gates, and comfort working across infrastructure and application boundaries.
Pay is $160,000 to $200,000 a year. Remote in the United States, with optional presence in Columbus, Chicago or New York.
