About the role

1Password is looking for a Product Manager to join the Developer & AI team, focused on defining and driving the roadmap for Machine Identity, one of the hardest problems in modern security: how applications, services, and infrastructure authenticate without relying on long-lived credentials. This is a high-impact role at the center of one of the company's most critical strategic bets, Unified Access. You will partner closely with a Senior Staff Product Manager, engineering, design, and go-to-market leaders to shape how developers and enterprises manage machine identities, owning roadmap definition, prioritization, and product strategy while ensuring the customer voice is present in every decision.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the customer-facing roadmap for the Machine Identity product area, in partnership with engineering and design leads.
  • Own OKRs for your area with clear success metrics, and drive quarterly planning cycles end-to-end.
  • Write and iterate on PRDs, PRFAQs, and other product specifications that align engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Prioritize initiatives on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, keeping the team focused on the work that matters most.
  • Bring the customer voice into product decisions through research, direct engagement, and structured feedback loops.
  • Contribute to the cross-company vision and execution strategy for Machine Identity and the broader Unified Access platform.
  • Support executive-level conversations with customers and prospects about Unified Access, alongside PMM and senior PM colleagues.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a product management role, with a track record of owning features or product areas end-to-end.
  • Hands-on experience writing PRDs, PRFAQs, or similar product specifications.
  • Strong customer empathy: a demonstrated ability to gather feedback, identify patterns, and translate customer needs into clear, prioritized requirements.
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and clarity needs to be created, not just inherited.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
  • Bonus: familiarity with developer tools, enterprise SaaS, or security products, experience with AI engineering tools for side projects, and experience with identity, secrets management, or infrastructure security.
