About the role
Quora runs more than a hundred machine learning models in production, and this team owns the platform and ranking infrastructure they run on: serving reliability, developer velocity for the ML engineers using it, business impact and cost efficiency.
It is a new graduate posting, and unusually clear about what that means here. No prior ML infrastructure experience is required, the team is otherwise senior and staff engineers, there is a dedicated mentor, and the stated expectation is shipping to production in the first few weeks. The stack is Python, Go and C++ with PyTorch, Kubernetes on EKS, NVIDIA Triton, Ray and AWS, so the work is GPU serving performance and distributed systems more than modelling.
