Enterprise Support Engineer (West Coast)

OpenRouter is the routing and infrastructure layer that companies use to reach large language models from many providers through one API, without lock-in or capacity limits. Its enterprise customers include some of the busiest AI teams around.

As an enterprise support engineer you would be the technical point person for OpenRouter's largest customers. You would own enterprise incidents and enquiries, dig through logs, stack traces and API usage to tell platform problems from upstream provider errors or customer bugs, and write minimal reproduction scripts in TypeScript, Python or curl before handing confirmed defects to engineering. You would also give account managers data on latency, token usage and error rates, keep stakeholders informed during outages, and turn investigations into docs, playbooks and automation.

They want 3-5+ years in customer-facing support at a B2B SaaS or API-first company, a solid grasp of REST APIs, HTTP, server-sent event streaming and auth, the ability to read and debug code in a common language, experience tracing requests in tools like Datadog or Grafana, and basic SQL. Knowing how LLMs work in practice is a bonus. The role covers West Coast business hours.

Pay is $115,000 to $150,000 plus equity. Remote in the US.
