Manager, Developer Advocacy (EMEA)

Temporal makes the open-source durable execution platform of the same name and runs Temporal Cloud. This role leads Developer Advocacy across EMEA, shaping how developers in the region discover Temporal and helping the largest customers build serious systems on it.

You would hire and coach a team of developer advocates spread across the region and decide how their time is split between community work and customer accounts. It is a hands-on management job: you would still give talks, run workshops, write code and build demos, create and localise tutorials, blog posts, videos and sample apps, and run DevDays, Temporal's onsite customer engagement programme, in EMEA. You would work closely with Marketing on conferences and meetups, with Sales and Solutions Architects on accounts, and feed what you hear back to Docs, Education and Product.

Temporal wants experience in developer advocacy, solutions engineering, developer education or technical community work, people leadership experience or readiness for it, strong hands-on technical credibility with senior enterprise engineers, and comfort working across functions. Familiarity with durable execution, workflow orchestration or distributed systems is a strong plus, and other European languages help.

Pay is GBP 100,800 to GBP 147,000 a year depending on UK location tier, plus equity. Remote in the United Kingdom.
