About the role
Elastic's Observability product team is looking for a Senior Product Manager focused on logs and logs analytics. With your knowledge of the observability domain, you will help ensure customers get the best end-to-end, full-stack observability experience for logs collected from the applications and infrastructure they monitor. This role has significant impact on the success of the Observability product.
Responsibilities
- Evolve the logs analytics capabilities, aligning at every step with organizational and company strategy.
- Advance and influence the entire end-to-end lifecycle for logs collection, ingest, and management.
- Build features for the modern SRE: GenAI and agentic workflows in the logging experience, automated SLO/SLI tracking from logs, intelligent alerting, and correlation of logs, metrics, and traces.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, and Design to deliver top-notch monitoring experiences.
- Work with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market, messaging, competitive analysis, enablement, and feature adoption.
- Track user engagement and feedback to inform product and feature evolution.
Qualifications
- Ideally 3+ years in product management or a closely related area.
- Technical experience in logs analytics plus observability or performance monitoring domain knowledge.
- Comfort converting abstract problems into concrete, prioritized solutions, working from the customer backwards.
- Outstanding spoken and written communication skills.
- Passion for industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Experience in a remote, globally distributed environment and knowledge of AI are desired.
