Senior Software Engineer, AI/ML (Remote Canada)
About the role
Smile Digital Health builds a FHIR-based health data platform. This senior AI/ML software engineer builds and ships machine learning and generative AI capabilities into Smile's product and internal tooling.
You would design and implement ML and AI features, take models into production, collaborate with product and engineering on data and model quality, and take part in technical strategy discussions. The posting emphasises ownership of development components, collaborative code review and delivering against deadlines in a remote team.
Smile wants senior software engineering experience with applied machine learning or AI, strong Python, and comfort operating in a remote Canadian engineering team.
Pay is CAD 125,000 to CAD 135,000 a year. Remote in Canada.
