Own technical strategy and architecture for Coinbase's payments platform, including integrations, routing and funds movement. Build distributed systems that process payment traffic reliably across markets.
This staff-level role sets engineering standards and improves resilience, observability and service-level objectives for critical financial infrastructure.
Remote-first in the United States. Coinbase requires quarterly in-person working sessions called surges; this is not a remote-only position.
The advertised annual salary is USD 218,025–256,500.
