About the role
Set the architectural direction for Coinbase Transfers, the systems moving crypto and fiat funds across its products. Lead cross-team engineering initiatives and improve correctness, reliability and scalability.
This staff-level role works with payments, trading and product engineers on critical financial infrastructure.
Remote-first in the United States. Coinbase requires quarterly in-person working sessions called surges; this is not a remote-only position.
The advertised annual salary is USD 218,025–256,500.
