About the role
Designing for developers, sysadmins and platform engineers, which is a specific discipline. Your users are experts who will route around bad design rather than complain about it, and who judge a product by whether it respects their time.
The role is research-adjacent: data analysis, usability testing with the UX research team, and user journeys shared across cross-functional teams. Accessibility and design systems named.
US remote. Most of what you design at Red Hat ends up in open source, which means the work has an afterlife beyond the company, and a public record.
